The Sarah D. Barder Fellowship annual conference, sponsored by the Center for Talented Youth, will be held January 27 through 29, 2006 in San Francisco. The theme of this year's conference is "Bringing Research Into The Classroom," and will highlight the offerings of the ResearchChannel. This year’s keynote speaker will be Deborah Kelly, an oceanographer from the University of Washington. Also speaking and giving workshops at the conference will be Dennis Liu from the Howard Hughes Institute, Bruce Margon from the Space Telescope Science Institute, and Karenne Wood from the University of Virginia. Glenn Small from Johns Hopkins University, Sheri Winston from the University of Virginia and Timothy Lorang from ResearchChannel will give workshops on how educators can utilize ResearchChannel for their students.
