Description: 
Dr. Gina Mohr is director of palliative medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center and assistant professor of family medicine at the school of medicine. She presents the need for palliative medicine in today's health care system and the importance of non-abandonment of dying patients. Dr. Mohr also identifies the key components to be addressed for a patient with a life-limiting illness as well as how caregivers can discuss the dying process while addressing their own issues with death.
