Researchers at the USC Information Sciences Institute present two innovative and timely research reports: the Rapid Tactical Language Training System that teaches soldiers to speak "situational Arabic"; and the CONRO Project that employs a miniature reconfigurable robot that can be tasked to perform reconnaissance and search and identification duties.
