Description:
Confronted by the challenges of public uncertainty and imminent enlargement, the European Union has convened a convention on the future of Europe. Under the chairmanship of former French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing, the convention is preparing a revision of the EU's treaties, and may draft a constitution for the European Union.
