Description: The Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement is one of the premier awards honoring achievements in environmental science, energy and medicine of worldwide importance. The Tyler Prize consists of a cash award of $200,000 and a solid 10kt. gold medallion. The 2004 awards were conferred during a program on the USC campus on April 29, 2004 to The Barefoot College of Tilonia, Rajasthan, India, and the Latin American Plant Sciences Network (LAPSN).
