Description: Innovative uses of video, audio, text, and graphics make it possible for the learner to engage in knowledge creation activities and provide opportunities of participating in communities of practice. In this presentation, Reed Stevens show examples of how he has used rich media in his work and discusses his research which examines and compares cognitive activity in classrooms, workplaces, and science museums.
