Dines Bjorner of the Technical University of Denmark generalizes license languages applied to the electronic downloading, payment and rendering of artistic works -- for example, music, literature readings and movies. Bjorner extends the concept of licensing to cover work authorization in health care and in public government. Bjorner motivates and exemplifies three license languages, their pragmatics, syntax and informal as well as formal semantics.
