Alan Cheuse is the author of three novels, two collections of short fiction, a memoir and a collection of essays and criticism. He describes writing his multi-faceted memoir, "Fall Out of Heaven: An Autobiographical Journey," based on the journals of his immigrant father and his own travels in Russia with his 21-year old son, and talks about his recently published collection of essays called "Listening to the Page."
