Description: Education is one of our nation’s top priorities for children, and we constantly seek new ways to help educate children who face learning challenges, both at home and at school. This program looks at what it takes for states in the U.S. to create effective school-readiness policies and programs, and why such programs are so imperative to our children’s welfare. Panelists discuss the importance of integrating home-based learning and learning-center programs, highlighting the social and political environments needed for successful early learning centers for children.
