Probability predicts that at least one of the students (and even one of the professors) at University of Washington’s CSE Department would like to make a zillion dollars by starting up a Web 2.0 company. However, probability also predicts that it is extremely unlikely that this will occur. Building successful high-tech products and businesses actually involves about only 20% computer science expertise - there are many other factors that are required for success.
